Al Mizan- Vol 39 Chapters 70-77
The English volume 39 is the translation of the first half of Arabic volume 20 of al-Mizan and covers chapters 70-77. These are among the short chapters of the Qur'an which were predominantly revealed in the early years of the Prophet's mission in Mecca. The short chapters of the Qur'an have been used to introduce the beginners of the Book of God. The brevity and rhyme of the verses make them easy to remember, which is an excellent way of developing a personal relationship with the Qur'an.

One of the important discussions in this volume is the reality of the human being according to the Qur'an. What we learn from this discussion is that the human being is a single reality which is immaterial in essence and not a dichotomous reality made of the spirit and body. Another discussion in this volume is on the vows made by God in the Qur'an, a discussion which the readers will find beneficial to enhance the understanding of the Qur'an.
